City Council May Approve Ordinance to Allow Homeless Camping Around Green Lake

The Seattle Department of Transportation and Seattle Parks and Recreation recently prepared two maps that outline areas throughout the city that could be suitable for use as camping sites for homeless individuals, including Green Lake. This Friday, October 14th, the Seattle City Council is reviewing the maps in preparation to approve or deny a new ordinance that would allow camping in the city. ‘Pathway of Lights’ To Illuminate Green Lake Tomorrow

Luminaria will encircle Green Lake tomorrow night for the annual ‘Pathway of Lights’ celebration that brings much-needed brightness to Seattle’s long, dark winters. Limited Edition Seahawks Library Cards Available at Seattle Public Libraries

Seattle’s Seahawks spirit can be found in all corners of the city, and now fans can even show their 12th Man pride while checking out books.
