Fall Flavors in Green Lake
October 11, 2017|Posted in: Green Lake Restaurants
Fall is officially here, and with the cold, rainy days ahead we need some delicious food and beverages to both keep us warm and excite our taste buds. Hop around to the different restaurants – high-end and fast-casual alike – throughout Green Lake to get a taste of their fall flavors!
Sip on craft brews and savor some delicious pub food at Latona Pub. The Winter Duck Salad will hit the spot for fall goodness; arugula topped with Sonoma duck confit, figs, roasted beets, hazelnuts, and Humboldt Fog goat cheese drizzled with a balsamic vinaigrette. You also can’t go wrong with the classic sharp white cheddar Grilled Cheese & Tomato Basil Bisque!
Hankering for a burger and shake? Teddy’s Bigger Burgers in Greenlake is offering a seasonally themed burger and shake of the month of October. Pumpkin is the featured shake, with a Vampire’s Bane burger topped with onions, bleu cheese, garlic and the usual lettuce, tomato and pickle.
Green Lake’s self-named neighborhood grill serves up an amazing Chicken Linguine Alfredo to hit the spot with comfort food. And this dish goes beyond the basics at Greenlake Bar & Grill: grilled chicken, artichoke hearts, spinach and capers are all tossed together in a creamy Alfredo sauce for ultimate flavor and heartiness.
If you’re down to splurge on a fancy meal, Nell’s Restaurant is the number-one spot in the neighborhood. They change their menu each evening, but you can look for fall produce to become the starring ingredients in the high-end eatery’s offering. A wonderful comfort food dish from the latest menu on the website is the Rack of Lamb, served with cranberry beans, Yakima squash, sautéed chard and a horseradish jus.
