Mark your calendars for several fun events in Green Lake and the surrounding areas this month, including Seattle Restaurant Week, Earth Day, and more!
April 2-6 & 9-13: Seattle Restaurant Week at Green Lake Restaurants

A handful of Green Lake restaurants are participating in this season’s Seattle Restaurant Week, with three courses for $32: Kisaku, Mkt., Nell’s, and The Olive & Grape.
Fridays in April: Latona Pub’s Weekly Happy Hour Jazz
5pm – 7pm | Latona Pub
Latona Pub hosts a weekly happy hour, with live jazz music led by Phil Sparks, who is acclaimed as one of the best jazz artists in Seattle! It’s inspired by Boots, Barrie, and Murray, with happy hour bites and beer to enjoy while you listen!
April 6: Phinneywood Neighborhood Association Member Potluck
5:30pm – 7pm | Phinney Center
Whether you’re a new member or have been a member for decades, the Potluck is a great opportunity to learn what’s new at the PNA and how you can get involved. Please bring a dish or drink to share. April 8: Spring Safari African Wildlife Conservation Day
9:30am – 2:30pm | Woodland Park Zoo
Celebrate the African Savanna this April at the Woodland Park Zoo for Spring Safari, African Wildlife Conservation Day. There will be educational talks from keepers, special enrichment sessions, and more. Learn about important issues including illegal poaching and habitat loss, and find out how you can help save giraffes, lions, ostriches and other savanna animals.
April 15: Bunny Bounce at Woodland Park Zoo
9:30am – 3pm | Woodland Park Zoo
It’s the 16th annual Bunny Bounce for Easter at the zoo! There will be egg hunts for kids ages 1-8 years old, encounters with bunnies, and other themed zoo programs. Orangutans, lemurs, grizzlies, and more nibble on specially made Easter baskets lined with flowers, berries and other favorite treats. This event is free with zoo admission or membership, and egg hunts are on a first-come, first-served basis so space may be limited.
April 16: Closing Night of “Grounded”
2pm | Seattle Public Theater at the Green Lake Bathhouse
The final night of the latest show from the Seattle Public Theater is “Grounded”, which tells the story of an ace fighter pilot whose career is upended due to an unexpected pregnancy. After being reassigned to operate military drones hunting terrorists, the boundaries between her actual location and her assignment across the world begin to blur. The closing night performance of “Grounded” is at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 16th at the bathhouse.
April 23: 5th Anniversary Celebration of the PNA Village
3pm – 5pm | Phinney Center
Celebrate five years of the Village Program on April 23rd! It will be an afternoon of delicious food & drink, music, speakers, and community building. Please RSVP: 206-789-12217 or email@example.com.
