August 4: First Friday Film, “Zootopia”

August 12: Wild Asia – Asian Wildlife Conservation Day
9:30am – 3pm | Woodland Park Zoo
Learn how the Woodland Park Zoo and their partners are working to save the endangered wildlife of Asia, including issues such as palm oil and logging, at the zoo’s Wild Asia event on August 12th. Your actions can help to save and preserve the future for Malayan tigers, tree kangaroos, orangutans and other animals who are threatened. This event includes crafts and family activities in addition to keeper talks, and is free with zoo admission or membership.
August 17: Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home “Love and Comedy” Tour

BECU’s ZooTunes is back for the summer, and one of August’s leading events is a live performance with Garrison Keillor, as a stop on his Prairie Home “Love and Comedy” Tour. Head to the zoo on August 17th to enjoy!
August 21: Solar Eclipse Party
