Fridays in July: Latona Pub’s Weekly Happy Hour Jazz
5pm – 7pm | Latona Pub
Latona Pub hosts a weekly happy hour, with live jazz music led by Phil Sparks, who is acclaimed as one of the best jazz artists in Seattle! It’s inspired by Boots, Barrie, and Murray, with happy hour bites and beer to enjoy while you listen!

July 1-2: Red, White and Zoo
10am – 3pm | Woodland Park Zoo
Celebrate the Fourth of July at the Woodland Park Zoo on July 1st and 2nd for Red, White & Zoo! Watch the picnic as many of the zoo’s animals are treated to star-shaped popsicles, corn on the cob, or watermelon.

July 14: Phinney Center Gallery Opening
7pm – 9pm | Phinney Center
The Mural Project is opening at Phinney Center on July 14th, featuring 16 murals that were created by almost 200 people who are living with dementia and memory loss. The project is designed to change the narrative about Alzheimer’s and dementia from one of fear and loss, to one of hope, purpose, connection and courage. This project runs through August 11th.

July 14: 41st Annual Jungle Party
4:30pm – 9:30pm | Woodland Park Zoo
Join the Woodland Park Zoo for an evening of fun and celebration for the annual Jungle Party and fundraiser. Almost 1,000 leaders in philanthropy and civil service will gather on the North Meadow for the festivities, which include a colorful reception, fundraising auction, live entertainment, sit-down dinner, open bars and up-close animal experiences. Spaces are still open for the $150 Reception level tickets, which include the silent auction, animal tours, cocktails and appetizers.

July 22: PNA Summer Beer Taste
4pm – 7pm | Phinney Center
Head to the Phinney Center dressed in your best flower power or tie-dye outfit to join in the 50th anniversary celebration of the Summer of Love with a Summer Beer Taste. More than 30 local microbreweries have brought their best brews for participants to sample, and Barking Dog Alehouse is providing pub snacks and brat bites. Admission is $25 for a PNA member, $30 for the general public, and $10 for Designated Drivers.

July 27 & 28: Wine Tasting Flight
6pm – 9pm | Woodland Park Zoo
Taste some of the best boutique wines that the Pacific Northwest has to offer at a special after-hours Wine Tasting Flight fundraiser event at the Woodland Park Zoo. Winemakers will be on hand to answer questions and enhance your tasting experience. Bring your own glass! Tickets are $32 for general admission, which includes 10 tasting tickets, hosted music, animal encounters and access to some exhibits. VIP admission is $80, and includes early admission, a souvenir wine glass, complimentary buffet, additional tasting tickets, a Family Fun Pack of zoo admission, and an exclusive animal encounter.

July 28: “As You Like It” at the Green Lake Bathhouse
4pm | Seattle Public Theater at the Green Lake Bathhouse
“As You Like It”, a classic from Shakespeare, will be performed by the junior company (grades 6-8) at the Seattle Public Theater on July 28th.
