Green Lake Events: Things to Do in March
There are a few fun cultural events happening in Green Lake this month…
Fridays in March: Latona Pub’s Weekly Happy Hour Jazz
5pm – 7pm | Latona Pub
Latona Pub hosts a weekly happy hour in February, with live jazz music led by Phil Sparks, who is acclaimed as one of the best jazz artists in Seattle! It’s inspired by Boots, Barrie, and Murray, with happy hour bites and beer to enjoy while you listen!
March 9: PhinneyWood Art Walk
6pm – 9pm | Phinney and Greenwood Neighborhoods
For the second Friday art walk, sip and enjoy bites for happy hour at local neighborhood spots as you enjoy works from local artists that are featured in businesses along Greenwood and Phinney Avenue.
March 10: Holi Festival of Colors
1pm – 3pm | Phinney Center
Celebrate the traditional Indian festival of Holi on Saturday, March 10th! There will be music, dancing, storytelling, food and even a fun color fight. Tickets are $10/person and include two color packets. Food is available for purchase.
March 23: Opening Night of “Ironbound”
7:30pm | Seattle Public Theater at the Bathhouse
Featuring the stories of two working class people over the course of 20 years of their lives, “Ironbound” is opening at the Seattle Public Theater at the Bathhouse on March 23rd. It runs through April 15th.
March 31: Bunny Bounce
9:30am – 3pm | Woodland Park Zoo
The 17th annual Bunny Bounce comes to Woodland Park Zoo on March 31st, with egg hunts for the kiddos, crafts, bunny encounters and other zoo programs all day! Several animals will get to enjoy Easter baskets with berries, flowers and other treats as part of the zoo’s animal care program that is designed to enrich their lives.
